Good morning LOVElies!!! The wonderful people @SquareBars showered me with protein love. No lie, these are the BEST protein bars ever!!! Check out the amazing SquareBar shooters I’ve made a few weeks ago… filled with delicious flavors from the raw avocado mousse to the chia pudding, and last but not least… the Cocoa Coconut Square Bar… Mmm YUM!

Hello LOVElies!!! Guess what? Our flag football team made it to the playoffs. Yay! Before heading to the game, I wanted to make sure I get my protein intake.

This amazing SquareBar shooters is filled with delicious flavors from the raw avocado mousse to the chia pudding, and last but not least… the Cocoa Coconut Square Bar… Mmm YUM!

Avocado chocolate mousse:

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 4 tablespoons raw cacao
  • 2 tablespoons honey Process until smooth

Chia pudding:

  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

Combine and let it set in the fridge overnight.

Cinnamon Raisins Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich

Cinnamon Raisins Peanut Butter Banana Sandwhich Good morning LOVElies! Happy Wednesday! Is it Friday yet?  I haven’t packed for Vegas yet but I’m super EXCITED for this trip. Haha

Sometimes when you need that extra Protein for breakfast, slap on some creamy peanut butter between 2 toasted cinnamon raisins slices and stuff them with bananas… “PEANUT BUTTER-BANANA” Mmm YUM!

Italian Baked Eggs

Good morning LOVElies! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Here’s my quick and easy breakfast this morning: Italian baked eggs.

What you need:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan and garlic
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cilantro

What to do:

Preheat oven to 425. Spray ramekins with nonstivk spray. Evenly distribute marinara in each ramekin.

Top with eggs and everything else. Place in the oven for about 10 minutes. Remove and dress with cilantro. This recipe was inspired by DamnDelicious… Mmm YUM!

Rib Eyed Steak

Hello LOVElies! Tonight’s dinner: Rare RIB EYED STEAK and a side of veggies… Mmm YUM!!!  Amazing Rare steak

What you need:

  • 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 rib eyed steak

What to do:

  1.  In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoon EVOO, black pepper, and garlic together.
  2. Now rub the mixture into the steak.
  3. Over medium high heat, heat 2 tablespoon of EVOO in a frying pan.
  4.  Place the steak in the pan and sear both sides for 2-3 minutes.*
  5.  Remove the steaks and cover with aluminum foil to let it cook a little longer.
  6. Remove when desired “doneness” *Depending on thickness, sear according  I normally like medium rare which is 5 minutes each side but wanted to try something different today.

Well, maybe it’s more like afternoon  haha It’s gorgeous today! The farmer’s market in Reston was lively today. I fell upon an amazing product and I will share to you more about it after I do more research.

Anyhow, yesterday’s Paleo pancakes were so delish, I’ve decided to make more today. Talk about lots of proteins in the morning… Mmmm YUM!!! These fluffy homemade Paleo pancakes were packed with yummiliciousNeSs of bananas and cranberries! I also topped it with an egg and crispy bacon bits… YUM!!! Want the recipe? Happy Sunday FUNday LOVElies!!! I love family Sunday dinners. Can you guess what this is?

This Vietnamese dish is normally wrapped with freshly green lettuce, but I added a clear rice paper to make it easier to hold. Inside these crepes are sauté shrimp and lean pork, and bean sprouts. Served with this dish is normally a spicy fish sauce called “nuoc mam.” Mmmm YUM!!!

Good Morning LOVElies!!!It’s a gloomy morning in Ashburn… but that won’t stop us from starting our day with a healthy breakfast!

For breakfast this morning: GLUTEN-FREE, yes, Gluten-free banana oats cookies! This quick and easy recipe will get you out the door in no time. In fact, you can munch on these during your morning drive to work!  Gluten-free banana Oats

What you need:

  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 2 cups gluten free oats
  • 1/4 cups walnuts
  • 1/4 cups gluten-free craisins

What to do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend the oats in a food processor until desired consistency. In a large bowl, mash the bananas and oats until smooth. Add the walnuts and craisin. Pop into oven for 9-11 minutes, remove from oven, let it cool, ENJOY! 😉 Dairy free, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian approved!

Good morning LOVElies! Having a hard time finding a subsitute for mayonnaise? Try substituting mashed or thinly sliced avocado! It’s just as creamy, but the fat in avocados are healthy Avocados are an excellent source of both folate and vitamin E- essential for healthy skin and hair.

So… for breakfast this morning: Egg, tomato slices, tangy avocado slices and cilantro sammich. To get that tangy avocado, I sprinkled a touch of salt and lemon to my thinly sliced avocado to mimic that tanginess of mayo. Mmmmm YUM!!

This noodle soup dish is packed full of fresh crispy greens of bok choy, shrimp, lean char siu pork and fish cakes. Mmm YUM!!!  For a healthier option, choose a noodle like Soba and drop the fish cakes.
