Green Smoothies

Good morning LOVElies!!! Happy Wednesday to you. I’m feeling a little better today (I think). I’m trying to have positive happy thoughts. One way to stay happy is… DRINK YOUR GREEN SMOOTHIES!!! Why?! “They’re natural energy booster, natural weight loss, help you stay healthy all-year-long, packed with disease-fighting antioxidants, and hands down- the best fast food!”

Here’s a simple Greensmoothies recipe:

1 handful of spinach

1 large banana

1 cup Fage yogurt

1 cup raspberries

1 cup of ice A little bit of unsweetened almond milk

Good morning LOVElies. Happppppyyyy Monday!!! I hope you all had a great weekend. Have you ever wanted to try drinking greensmoothies but was unsure where to start? Avocado Banana Greensmoothie

Good morning LOVElies! Memorial weekend is coming up… that’s a 3 day weekend!!!  YAY! Hmmm… should I make a spontaneous trip to Florida?

Hehe We will see!  Times like this, makes me miss the beach so much Anyhow, I know you’re dying to see what smoothie I’m making today, right? Lol jk!

Well for breakfast this morning: a yummilicious Avocado Banana GreenSmoothie… Mmm YUM!

What you need:

  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 1 banana (ripe)
  • 2 BIG handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

Vegan Citrus Spareribs

Vegetarian Plus VEGAN Citrus Spareribs cutlets Hi LOVElies! I finally got the chance to go to Whole Foods and pick up some Vegetarian Plus food products. Believe it or not but these are imitation pork in plum vinegar sauce. All I added was some lighly boiled broccoli and Zoodles (zucchini noodles). Thanks @vegetarianplus for giving me an opportunity to try this! Mmm YUM!

 What you need:

  • 1 box of Vegetarian Plus Citrus spareribs cutlets
  • 2 big broccoli florets
  • 2 zucchini for zoodles (optional)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Red pepper flakes

What to do:

p>Follow the instructions on the Vegetarian plus box. In a pot, boil some water. Once boiled, add the broccoli for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from stove and run it over cold water; set aside.

Add the broccoli to the pan of Citrus Spareribs Cutlets. In a bowl, add zoodles and top with broccoli and Citrus Spareribs Cutlets. Easy. Simple. Delicious. 

 

blueberry banana smoothie

Good morning LOVElies! Rise and shine! It’s a beautiful Monday and supposedly it’s going to be beautiful all week.

To start my week out right, I made a delicious blueberry banana greensmoothie with a touch of LOVE (strawberry heart)

What you need:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 BIG handfuls of spinach
  • 1 celery stalk
  • Unsweetened almond milk

Ora Berries Smoothie

Good morning LOVElies! Rise and shine!! Are you ready for another green smoothie?

Green smoothies are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, dietary fiber and protein. They are easy to make and delicious to drink! Here’s my greensmoothie for the day: I call this one “Ora-berries”

What you need:

  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup of berries (your choice)
  • 2 BIG handfuls of spinach
  • 1/4 avocado
  • Unsweetened almond milk

Mmmm… YUM!

Good morning LOVElies! Happy Thursday! Looks like the weather is getting cold again  Oh well, the weekend is coming and I’m going snowboarding. Yay!  Green smoothies are healthy and delicious. With the right ingredient, you can mask the greens in a your smoothies. This is one of my fav- Avo-nana with a touch of spanich… Mmm YUM! Have a FANTASTIC day! Muahz!

Paleo Chinese Broccoli

 

Hello LOVElies! It’s been an amazing day today. Work was great and the weather was unbelievably nice compared to what we have been having. For dinner tonight: dish one- Paleo Chinese Broccoli

What you need:

  • 1 bunch chinese broccoli
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup tamari gluten free soy sauce

What to do:

On medium high, melt the coconut oil. Saute the garlic until gold brown. Add the broccoli and let it cook foe 3-5 minutes. Add the tamari and make sure to coat the broccoli evenly. Once desire doneness, remove from heat and serve hot. Mmmm YUM!
