Good morning LOVElies! One more day until the 4th of July!!! I am excited I get to spend 4th of July in Florida with my family. After all, the 4th is my dad’s birthday. Happy birthday dad!I’ve rented a pontoon to go scalloping this weekend in Steinhatchee. Have you been? It’s so much fun!!! I love being surrounded by water.

Anyhow, I’ve been craving guacamole for the longest and mister cutie pie, Kenneth @Kslay904, was nice enough to share his colorful chunky guacamole recipe with me.

This colorful chunky guacamole calls for:

  • 1 avocado
  • 6 grape tomatoes (cut into fours)
  • 1/2 red onion (diced), 1 jalapeños (diced)
  • 1 freshly squeezed lime juice, chopped cilantro, a dash of cumin, and a drop of honey.

Good morning LOVElies!!! I’ve fallen in love all over again. The weather here in Florida is amazing. If I didn’t love my job and the people I work with so much, I would move back in a heartbeat.

Anyhow, I love spoiling my family and friends with food. So… for breakfast this morning: an open-faced bacon, egg omelette, avocado, tomato, and lettuce sandwich. The omelette is seasoned with a dash of roasted herbs and I’ve added a lite spread of spicy mayo (mayo and sriracha mix). Mmmm YUM!!!

Avocado Banana Greensmoothie

Good morning LOVElies! Memorial weekend is coming up… that’s a 3 day weekend!!!  YAY! Hmmm… should I make a spontaneous trip to Florida?

Hehe We will see!  Times like this, makes me miss the beach so much Anyhow, I know you’re dying to see what smoothie I’m making today, right? Lol jk!

Well for breakfast this morning: a yummilicious Avocado Banana GreenSmoothie… Mmm YUM!

What you need:

  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 1 banana (ripe)
  • 2 BIG handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

Avocado Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Creamy, delicious Avocado Strawberry Banana Smoothie Hi LOVElies! The sun is finally coming out. That means people tend to smile more, don’t you agree?

I love this season- flowers blooming and love is in the air  Ooo lala haha One more day until I leave for Florida… YAY!

Anyhow… here’s my morning breakfast smoothie: Avocado Strawberry Banana Smothie.

What you need:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup of Sweet Strawberries
  • 1/2 an avocado About
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk (add more or less depending on how liquidy you like your smoothie)

What to do:

Blend them all together and ENJOY! Have an AMAZING day! Muahz!

Straw Cado Smoothie

Good afternoon LOVElies!!! After a wonderful weekend with amazingly warm weather, we get hit with 11″ of snow overnight. It’s definitely cold but beautiful.

My frenchie is here visiting from Florida and I’m not sure she knows exactly what this cold white fluff is.  Anyhow, for lunch: my yummilicious green smoothie: “Straw-cado”

What you need:

  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 2 BIG handfuls spinach
  • Unsweetened almond milk

Mmmm… YUM!!!


Avoberry Smoothie

Good morning LOVElies! TGIF!!! It’s 7am and I’m dancing like no one is looking haha  “Everything comes naturally… it comes naturally… when you’re with me, baby” Hahaha

Something about music just makes me so happy. You know what else makes me happy in the morning? My yummilicious smoothie. Oh yes!  This delicious “Avo-berry” is simple, easy and Mmm YUM!

What time you need:

  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 cup red raspberries
  • 1/2 blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • Unsweetened almond milk

Good morning LOVElies! Having a hard time finding a subsitute for mayonnaise? Try substituting mashed or thinly sliced avocado! It’s just as creamy, but the fat in avocados are healthy Avocados are an excellent source of both folate and vitamin E- essential for healthy skin and hair.

So… for breakfast this morning: Egg, tomato slices, tangy avocado slices and cilantro sammich. To get that tangy avocado, I sprinkled a touch of salt and lemon to my thinly sliced avocado to mimic that tanginess of mayo. Mmmmm YUM!!

Tonight’s dinner: Salmon Ceviche

This healthy and delicious Salmon Ceviche is so YUmMMmmy!!!

Salmon Ceviche recipe

  • 1 hand-size Salmon fillet
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 large mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 large avocado, peeled and diced
  • 2 Tbs cilantro, minced
  • 1/2 red onions
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 Tbs sesame oil
  • black sesame seeds

In a bowl, mix everything together.

Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Take a picture and ENJOY!!!

On a bed of freshly green arugula with a touch of blueberries & raspberries, this egg white omelette with scallions is stuffed with turkey slices, avocado and tomatoes; then wrapped with my fav BACON.

Good morning sweethearts!!! Is it Friday already? Haha It’s been awhile since I had a green smoothie so… here’s a “apple-blueberries” smoothie. This smoothie requires:

Apple Blueberries Smoothie

  • 1 apple
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 2 BIG handfuls of spinach
  • A scoop of wheysmart from ocean avenue (boost of metabolism to losing weight)
  • Water if needed (add a little or a lot depending on how liquidy you want your smoothies)
  • Ice (optional)
  • Topped with spinach and blueberries

kayleas-open-bookHere’s a quick, simple and easy recipe for lunch or dinner. This shrimp and avocado salad is packed full of delicious favors and textures. Mmmmm deliciously yum!!! ❤

Avocado and shrimp salad

  • 1 lb jumbo cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 hass avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped pineapples
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 2 limes, juice of 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro fresh pepper

In a bowl combine red onion, pineapples, lime juice, olive oil, a dash of pepper. Add the shrimp, avocado, cilantro and tomatoes. Toss several times until evenly coated. Enjoy!

No matter what the weather is, it’s always good to start the day with breakfast.

For breakfast this morning: Belgium waffles with turkey BACON, egg and fruits! This plate is stacked with freshly greens of spinach and arugula, a thick belgium waffle, raspberries, blueberries, avocado and my infamous eggdrool. Then to top it off, drizzled with sugar free syrup. Mmmmm deliciously drooliciously yum!
